Overview
Entrapp is an offline-first QR code wallet. It helps users scan, save, and display QR keys used for badges, gyms, events, and loyalty programs.
The current version of Entrapp does not require an account and does not intentionally send saved QR codes to Takotsubo® Life Sciences servers.
Data stored on your device
Entrapp may store QR code payloads saved by you, names, types, colors, optional notes, app plan state, and PIN authentication data stored as a salted hash rather than the original PIN. This data is stored locally on the device and is used to operate the app.
Camera
Entrapp requests camera access to scan QR codes. The camera is used to read the QR content. Entrapp does not save photos or videos from the camera.
Biometrics
Entrapp may use biometric authentication if it is available and enabled on your device. Biometric verification is handled by the operating system. Entrapp does not receive, store, or transmit biometric templates.
Data sharing
The current version of Entrapp does not sell user data and does not intentionally share saved QR code data with third parties.
Internet and cloud storage
The current version of Entrapp is designed to work offline for its core QR vault features. It does not provide cloud backup or cross-device sync.
Deleting your data
You can delete saved QR codes inside the app. You can also remove local app data by uninstalling Entrapp from your device.
Security
Entrapp uses local device storage mechanisms intended for sensitive app data. QR display mode also uses Android screen protection to reduce the risk of screenshots while a saved QR code is displayed. No method of local storage or electronic processing is perfect, and Takotsubo® Life Sciences cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Entrapp is not designed for children and is not intended to knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated when Entrapp changes. If the app adds features such as analytics, crash reporting, cloud backup, login, or payment providers, this policy should be updated before those features are released.
